Business Resilience……Defined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory uses the following definition: “Resiliency is a community’s or region’s ability to effectively prepare for, respond to and successfully recover from a disaster by possessing the ability to quickly return residents to work, reopen schools and businesses and restore the essential services needed for a full and swift economic and social recovery.” (adapted from Dr. C.S. Hollings)
