SO YOU WANT TO BE PRESIDENT?

Responsibility Duty; a job you are required to do

Vain Prideful; to think a lot of ones self

Humble Modest; doesnt bring attention to ones self; takes care of others first

The president never has to take out the garbage. This is one detail from our story. What main idea would this detail support? There are good things and bad things about being president. Almost any job can lead to a person becoming president.

Which is an opinion? James Madison weighed only one hundred pounds. Benjamin Harrison was lucky to have grown up on a large farm.

What did Quentin Roosevelt do to cheer up his brother? Played football with his brother on the white house lawn Rode his pony upstairs in the White House elevator

Which one these could be a main idea from our story? Some presidents preferred dogs. All kinds of pets lived in the White House.
