List of International Workshops and Training Courses From Data to Accounts Industrial Statistics Social Statistics CPI Measuring GDP by Final Demand Approach Time Use ICP Business Register Price Indices for Real Estate Implementation of ISIC and CPC 522 statistical elites of China official statistical system and 202 statisticians of official institutions of developing countries have been trained.

The Scope of Trainees International trainees mainly come from official statistical institutions of Asian developing countries. Domestic trainees mainly come from relevant departments of NBS of China, provincial bureau of statistics or survey offices, relevant ministries and universities.

Initiative Phase 2010—2013 Statistical Standards and Classification Statistical Application of Administrative Record National Accounts Statistics Development and Training of Human Resources Service Industry Statistics R&D Statistics Floating Population Statistics Collection of Business Enterprise Data Price Statistics Energy Statistics and Monitoring 14

Initiative Phase 2010—2013 Form and Scale of the Training 3 multi-lateral or bilateral training courses and workshops will be held to achieve a goal of training 120 international trainees and 300 domestic trainees per year. 15

Development Phase 2014—2015 Goal for This Phase Major Training Contents Regular Training Programs and Heated-Discussed Issues The training areas will be broadened, including the UN Millennium Development Goals, poverty monitoring, gender statistics, health statistics and etc.

Development Phase 2014—2015 Form and Scale of the Training 5 multilateral or bilateral training and workshops will be held annually. A goal of training 150 official statisticians for the developing countries and 600 domestic statistical personnel. The system of summit forums on statistics at regular intervals can be prepared and established.

Maturity Phase 2016—2020 Goal for This Phase Major Training Contents The training and seminar will focus on the hot issues on the international statistics and the statistical problems of the developing countries to be solved urgently.

Maturity Phase 2016—2020 Form and Scale of the Training There will be 8 multi-lateral or bilateral training and workshops to be held annually. 200 personnel from abroad and 800 trainees from China can be trained annually. Statistical personnel of developing countries will be sent to relevant scientific institutions and universities in China for internship or short-term work.
