What is Key Club?  Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students  Key Club is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others.

Benefits of being a Member  Service hours for scholarships! Key Club provides students a fun way to earn service hours that go toward Bright Futures Scholarships and appears on College Applications!  Involvement in the Community! Not only will you receive service hours for yourself, but will help the community through fun and interactive service projects.  Leadership Opportunities Key Club is supervised by adults, but run by the students. Many opportunities will arise for you to be a student leader!

Service Projects?  A service project is anything you volunteer to do to help someone in your community.  Examples: Lake clean ups, making sandwiches for soup kitchens, operation shoebox, UNICEF, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Ronald McDonald house. We raise money for eliminate M.N.T  We work with the Kiwanis Club on other projects that provide adult leadership and guidance.

Eliminate Project  Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate M.N.T  This disease kills nearly 60,000 babies and significant number of women each year.  $2 donated can immunize one mother and her future children.

KCKC  Key Club Kick-off Conference (KCKC), is a large meeting of our entire zone.  At the Conference, we get to know our district officers better, as well as attend workshops that help with ideas for service projects, running smooth meetings, and even coming up with Ice Breakers!  It is a way to get more acquainted with our fellow key club members and celebrate the greatness of key club together!

DELC  District Education and Leadership Conference.  This is a large meeting of our whole Florida Division!  We elect our new District Officers, attend assemblies, dances, and fun workshops with all our fellow Key Clubbers!

International Convention (ICON)  ICON is similar to DELC, only it is a gather of ALL the states’ Key Clubs, and some countries.  ICON is in different locations every year, all over the U.S.  It is located in Washington D.C this year!
