Agenda for 12/8/04 and 12/9/04 1. Quick Write/Sketch - Art is either plagiarism or revolution. - Paul Gauguin Think about your project…. Does your artwork pay tribute to your artist without plagiarizing? How could you see your artwork as being revolutionary? If its not, what could you do to it to make it more unique?

Agenda: 12/8 and 12/9 3. Today is a work day for your Artist Tribute Series. You will have 2 more studio days to complete your tribute series. Make sure you plan for this amount of studio time. Dont forget to create your PowerPoint!

Agenda: 12/8 and 12/9 4. Make sure that your 3 artworks connect visually as a series. Ask your self the following questions: do they have a similar color scheme? do they have the same size format? do they have a similar style and/or subject matter? is there an element or elements that are repeated throughout the series? do they pay tribute to the artist in a consistent way?
