Flower Parts

Roots Roots grow underground. Roots hold the plant into the soil. They take in water from the soil. roots

Stems Stems take water and nutrients to all of the other parts of a plant. Stem

Leaves Leaves take in sunlight and air to make food for the plant. leaf

Flowers Flowers help the plant make seeds and fruit. Seeds are carried by animals, wind, and water to new places. flower
