WHAT IS A FIELD? A FIELD IS A REGION OF SPACE THAT HAS A MEASURABLE QUANTITY AT EVERY POINT A FIELD MAP IS USED TO REPRESENT ANY QUANTITY THAT VARIES IN A REGION OF SPACE
