THE SOLAR SYSTEM By Maria

 It is the closest planet to the sun.  It’s a small planet.  There is no life because it is so hot.  On one side it is so hot it melts led.  On the other side of mercury it is cold. mercury MERCURY

 Venus is the same size as Earth.  It’s considered to be Earth’s sister.  It’s atsmosphere is made of carbon dioxide.  The volcanoes are 3 miles in the atsmoshere.  Venus is red. VENUS

 Is the only planet with life on it.  Earth is the same size as Venus.  The Earth is around 4.6 billion years old.  Oceans cover over 70% of the surface. EARTH

 Mars is known as the Red Planet.  Mars has 2 satellites named Phobos and Deimos.  Mars is the god of war in Roman mythology.  Mars is 35 million miles from Earth.  Mars is covered by canyons and valleys. MARS
