2 Mercury Mercury is the closes planet to the sun.
It is the smallest planet. Mercury is so hot that it would melt lead. The dark side is cold. There is no life on Mercury.

3 Venus Venus is the same size as Earth is.
It is considered to be the Earths sister. Venus’s atmosphere is made of carbon dioxide. The volcanos are as tall as three miles Venus is red. http: //planetfacts.org

4 Earth The Earth is the same size as Venus.
It is the only planet that can have life. The Earth is around 4.6 billion years old.

5 Mars Temperatures on mars are from 0˚C(32˚F) to 100˚C(-148˚F).
A Mars year is equal to Earth days. Mars is 35 million miles from Earth.

6 Jupiter A Jupiter’s maximum distance from Earth =588 million .

7 Saturn It is the sixth planet from the sun an the second largest.
It has 62 known moons 53 have been named. A year on Saturn is119,871 km (74,500 miles).

8 Uranus A year on Uranus is 84.01 Earth years.
The orbital speed of Uranus is 6.6 km/seconds. A day on Uranus is equal to a more than 17 hours.

9 Neptune In Roman mythology , Neptune is the god of the seel.
One neptune day is equal to16 hours on earth. The diameter of neptune year is 49,493.

10 Pluto It has not been seen since 2006.
