Bachelor’s Program in CIVIL ENGINEERING Duration of Studies: 8 terms Academic Degree to be Awarded Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Objective of the Bachelor’s Program in Civil Engineering Training of construction/designing practitioners with strong basic engineering education

Curriculum 4 Units I Mathematics and Natural Sciences – no less than 20% of the total program II II.1 Basic engineering courses (common) – no less than 25% of the total program II.2 Special major courses (common) _ no less than 5% of the total program

Curriculum 4 Units III. III.1 Special major courses (special level) _ no less than 15% of the total program III.2 Basic engineering study courses (special level) _ no less than 25% of the total program Module: Civic buildings and Structures

Curriculum 4 Units Module : Transport structures Module : Hydraulic structures III.3 Professional practice – no less than 5% of the total program III.4 Final project _ no less than 5% of the total program IV IV.1 Study courses in humanities and social sciences – no more than 10% of the total program

Curriculum 4 Units Requirements: _ from the 1 st to the 5 th term (inclusive) – general education program for all the three modules _ The minimum scope of the study course _ 3 E.C. _ Optional study courses – only in Unit 3.

One of the basis for selection of general and specific competences is the results of the survey conducted from May 6 till June 1, During the Survey 60 respondents were questioned and was filled 150 general and 150 field specific questionnaires. (Altogether 300). 30 respondents were graduates, 31 - academic staff, 56 - students and 33 - employers.
