Environmental Science Master Program (MSc) University of Pannonia Veszprém, Hungary

Title of Program: Environmental Science MSc Degree: environmental researcher Duration of training: 4 semesters 4 semesters General Information

Objective Training of professionals who have a broad knowledge across traditional science disciplines and use the tools of scientific research to study and solve environmental issues.

Study Tracks atmospheric environment Offers a degree that can be used all over the world, since research on the aspects of global climate change and its regional effects will certainly remain one of the most important topics of the coming decades in environmental science. Graduates are able to design and perform the sampling and analysis of atmospheric gases and aerosol particles and to interpret and present their scientific results. 7 Career Opportunities Graduates from the atmospheric environment track can find positions with national and regional institutes and agencies performing air quality studies and enforcing environmental regulations. They are also employed by businesses interested in local air quality protection. Graduates from the limnology track find employment with research institutes and agencies performing water quality measurements, or in laboratories and agencies specialized in the protection of aquatic environments. Graduates from both tracks can pursue advanced studies in the doctoral (PhD) programs of either the University of Pannonia or other Hungarian or foreign universities.

You are welcome if you... have a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering wish to understand the atmospheric and aquatic environments and their human-induced changes with scientific rigorosity have aquired a well-developed sense of responsibility for our future and wish to take part in solving environmental issues feel you are able to perform highly committed scientific research
