The Eos-Explorer CHENRAN YE IMDE ECE 4665/5666 Fall 2011

The Eos-Explorer is Designed to…  The Eos-Explorer: an autonomous navigation robot that is designed to report environment condition of certain location back by real time video captured.

The Eos-Explorer is Designed to…  Behaviors and Sensors  Avoid Obstacles Ultrasonic Range Finder – Maxbotix LV EZ0  Identify Location EM-406A Reciever  Detect Object Foscam Fi8908w IP Camera

Identify Location

Detect Object

Tracking Sample

Communication  Between IP cam and Command Unit  Wi-fi Connection  Between Command Unit and MCU  X-Bee modules

Conclusion  Work Accomplished  Mobile platform design, construction and assembly  Integration of sensors, communications between computer and microprocessor  Identify location behavior  Object Avoidance behavior  Computer vision

Conclusion  Limitation of Work  Cheap GPS module  There’s more difficulties in real condition to detect certain object.

 Any Questions?
