7 Current model : RESEARCH rojects Competitive funding of research projects The current model of research funding is regulated by Ministry Decree (2006, 2010). The funds are allocated to institutions through competitions following applications (proposals) The funding instruments are redesigned for the financial period The national and international peer review teams assessed the proposal The researchers are categorized in the range A1- A7 (the number of papers published in SCI, SSCI, AHCI journals) Founding grants for four year period ( )
