Meeting the Needs of Learners: You told us... 98% of students felt they were making good progress 94% of students felt their course were meeting their needs “My tutors explain things and are supportive when you are stuck”

Information, Guidance and Support: You told us... 62% of students felt it was easy to apply for a Bursary/EMA We want to make applying for a bursary easier and quicker – we are looking at a new online system for next year.

Essential Skills: You told us... 92% of students felt they were getting better at solving problems 95% of students felt they were getting better at working with others 87% of students felt their written work and IT skills have improved from being at College “Although I had already become good at certain essential skills, I have still improved and will continue to do so thanks to the support from my tutors and students on my course”

Being Involved: You told us... 74% of students said their lecturers ask them about their lessons and teaching We always welcome your views on how you are taught so we know what we are doing well and what can done to make learning better. Talk to your lecturer about what makes lessons interesting – they want to hear from you.

Learning Support: You told us... 95% of students stated that they knew how to get additional learning support if they are struggling with their course “I find it easy to find help when needed”

Being Involved: You told us... 86% of students felt that their comments or complaints were treated seriously by the College All complaints should be treated seriously. If you have a complaint that hasn’t been treated seriously go to reception or our website to find out what you can do.

Teaching and Learning: You told us... 99% of students felt that their lecturers know their subject well “I feel lessons have a good mix of learning techniques” “I think the way of teaching at the College is great” “Staff make the subject interesting”

Being Involved: You told us... 77% of students felt that the Students Association represents them well We will have a bigger and better student association in place next year. They are there to represent your views – if you are interested, get involved.

Use of College Facilities and Resources: You told us... 95% of students felt that the campus is kept clean and is well looked after “I think the College has done a good job keeping on top of things that need to be done”

Being Involved: You told us... 77% of students felt that the Class Representative system works well We will be giving extra support Class Representatives in the coming year so they can do their job well. We will have more staff working for the students association there will be a full time president who will be there to support and listen to you.
