Information Builders Corporate Overview Agenda Challenges of Banner Reporting The WebFOCUS Reporting Foundations Demonstration Summary

Key reporting challenges for Banner customers Banner has the data, but how do we leverage it? How do we get answers for all our ad hoc questions? May we create our own web-based reports? How do we reduce the burden on IT? May we access existing data stores outside of Banner, and multiple data sources concurrently? Are charts and graphs available? How will we leverage our existing security? There are lots of question users have, but to get answers do we have to add to their training load? And is there a way we can create reports without having to learn SQL? I have other applications that we’ve built along the way? Can these be integrated into our reporting strategy? I’d love to use graphics, but is it possible? Do we have to add another sign-on, or will this fit right into the security we have?
