Born in 1965 at Yate General Hospital in England She grew up at Chespew,Gwen she went to Wyedean Comprehensive Jo went to Exeter University and earned a french and classics degree Jo went to Paris for a year because she was required to there Jo was graduated as a postgraduate she then moved to London to work at AI (Amnesty International) doing research into human right abuses in Francophone,Africa she started the Harry Potter series while on a London King's cross train during the next five years she outlined plots for all of the series books 1-7

when she finished five years later she started writing Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone she then moved to Northern Portugal where she taught English as a foreign language she married in October of 1992 she had a daughter in 1993 and named her Jessica she returned to the UK when she divorced and lived in Edinburgh with Jessica Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone was completed there in 1996 she received a of publication and said yes the next summer the world knew Harry Potter she married in 2001 to Dr. Neil Murray she had a baby boy in 2003 and named him David she then had a sister for David and Jessica in 2005 and named her Mackenzie
