© Cheltenham Courseware Pty. Ltd. Slide No 3 Linking Form to a table Click on the Create tab, and within Form group click on the Form Design button. This will Create a new form in Design View. Within the Tools group, click on the Property Sheet button. This will display the Property Sheet window on the right side of the screen. In the Property Sheet window, under Data tab click on the Record Source and select a table from drop down list, i.e. select TblStudents. This will link the Form to the table TblCustomer.

A Field List window will be displayed on the right side, showing all the available fields that can be added on this form. In this Field List window, click and drag fields to the form.

From the popup menu, click on the Align. Under Align click on the Left command. It will align all the controls to the left based on the control which is on the extreme left side.

Right click on any of these selected controls. From the popup menu, click on the Size. Under Size click on the To Fit command.

© Cheltenham Courseware Pty. Ltd. Slide No 31 What is a Switchboard Switchboards are the screens used to navigate around a database and perform tasks, such as running reports. The switchboard is made of buttons that you click. You can program these buttons to open forms, reports, queries, etc.
