Actively encourage ethnic community- groups to create awareness of other backgrounds by bringing them front and center of this push to internationalize the New Jersey education system. Teacher Training & Technology Training and practical experience is critical. Technological advances have eliminated borders allowing an insight into each and every part of the world. This has become an invaluable tool whose use must become central to the advancement of educational standards.

The Growing Importance of Foreign Languages The importance of a bi-lingual work-force is just now being given importance in the US.

Employers Perspective One of the key factors for producing globally competitive workforce is its ability to communicate effectively with the outside world. As 1 in every 6 new jobs created relates to international trade, employers will naturally favor candidates who are not only multi-lingual, but those who have the ability to adapt. 1.Language capabilities, and 2.Adaptability to a wide variety of situations/regions/countries.

Initial Steps need to be taken

Conclusion As a parent, resident and taxpayer, I think the goals set by the NJ Department of Education for promoting a broader-based education standard seem appropriate to position future graduates to meet the complex and diverse demands of the global marketplace.
