Animals including Humans Year 3 Lesson 3 LI: To understand the function of a skeleton.

Input In small groups, draw around someone onto sugar paper. Draw on where you think your bones are. Hint: you can use your body to help you!

Function of the skeleton Movement – The muscles, which are attached to the bone, work together to help us move. Protection – As bone is incredibly hard, it protects vital organs, such as the brain. Support – The bones keep the structure of our body in place.
