Responses to the Effects of the Industrial Revolution In your investigation of the effects of the Industrial Revolution, you found many negative effects, and came up with great ways to improve those negative effects. In you groups you will be reading about some of the actual responses to the negative effects of the Industrial Revolution. (Most of your ideas match those that actually took place!)

Responses to the Effects of the Industrial Revolution As you read, highlight/underline evidence of responses for each of the topics on your chart. Label your highlight/underline with a symbol for each of the topics. – For example: CL “In 1833, Anthorp’s Act was passed by Parliament, banning the employment of children less than 9 years of age.” Fill in your chart with evidence that you find for each topic.

Innovative Inventions of the Industrial Revolution Can you guess this innovative invention?
