Social Worker- this is a broad term to describe people who provide support to families, the elderly, the poor, addicts, and others in need Geriatric Social Worker-a person who helps the elderly meet their needs; such as housing, transportation, meals, housekeeping, legal and medical assistance Home Health Care Aide- a person who works in the home of the elderly doing housekeeping, meal preparation, and basic hygiene
