REFERRAL BREAK DOWN: General Counseling Referrals: 325 Total Suspension Abeyance Referrals/Intakes: 163 (High School: 104, Middle School: 58, Elementary School: 1) Alternative to Suspension (long term) Intakes: 35 Social Service Referrals (clothing, shoes, food boxes, school supplies, personal supplies): 307 Other: Elvira: 300 notebooks Ocotillo: 120 pairs of shoes Desert View: 30 pairs of shoes Sunnyside High: 30 pair of shoes Apollo Community School: 12 Boxes of Coats Challenger: 130 notebooks TAPP: 27 (Year round school based psychosocial support groups at DVHS/SSHS) Apollo Girls Group: 7 (Year round school based psychosocial support group) MCKINNEY VENTO PROGRAM This year FRWC received 362 MV Eligibility Forms including MV Resource Referrals since the program transitioned over to the FRWC in November This does not include the number of siblings that the identified student might have. Final count identified a little over 1400 SUSD students identified as MV this year alone. This year we were able to provide transportation to 210 SUSD students, plus 39 students who were assisted with Sun Tran Transportation in a form of a bus pass to keep them in school.
