 I bake for two reasons. One, because I love it. I love the smells, I love the challenge, I love the taste of homemade.  It is satisfying to have other people enjoy what I have made and to know they are eating natures best and not preservatives and additives. I LOVE TO BAKE!  I love to be in the kitchen cooking for friends and family, plus I think it really helps me to relax. My mother and both grandmothers are great bakers, I guess it’s the idea of creating something that everyone gets great satisfaction out of.

 Baking is really fun. I enjoy baking because it keeps people smiling and I love to eat sweets. Baking takes time and abilities to bake and draw. You have to make sure you are properly putting each ingredient into the mixer and make sure the ingredients are blended well. Drawing and decorating cakes are hard. Baking hurts your hand and takes patience.  Baking cakes, pies, and brownies is easy money. Many people order 3-4 cakes a week, 2-4 pies a week, and 1-3 plate of brownies. Cakes are $20-$60, depending on if it’s a birthday cake, pound cake, wedding cake, or bachelor's cake.
