Teaching and Learning The judgement is based on results, lesson observations and work in books. All three areas need to be outstanding to achieve an overall judgement of outstanding. The grade for teaching and learning can not be higher than the grade for achievement. The data is based on pupils who left in July 2012.

Behaviour and Safety Pupils are polite and respectful The children say they feel safe and well cared for The anti-bullying and e-safety initiatives were important factors in fostering the feeling of well being. Spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness are very strong.

Leadership and Management Clear recognition of positive change and improvement under the Headteacher Effective monitoring of teaching and impact on learning Advances made in the use of tracking of pupil progress. Needs more time to show impact. Exceptional promotion of pupils’ spiritual, moral, social & cultural development. Very high rating of this area also in parent survey.
