Welcome to Science! Ms. Shaffer’s class

Background Info I was born in San Jose, CA I moved to Texas in 3 rd grade I graduated from Llano High School I attended Modesto Jr College in CA I received my degree from Angelo State University (San Angelo, TX)

More Background…. I have been teaching and coaching for 27 years, at the high school and middle school levels. Although I am not a coach at LTMS, my favorite sports to coach are track and cross country. I was a runner for many years until I developed arthritis and even pole vaulted in my 40’s until I had a knee replacement. I qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2004.

Family I have 3 children: Scott (23), Sterlin (19), and Heather (19) I was adopted at birth and have one younger brother, Tom. My dad is well, but my mom is no longer living.
