What are my expectations for the sites: SOAR: create as many VEX IQ teams as you can MOSAIC: every school should have at least TWO VRC teams Compete: compete in at least two competitions Goal: Everyone is involved, learning and participating GEARUP ROBOTICS PROGRAM

What can you expect from me: Will provide as much team training support as humanly possible Will provide as much support as possible to your coaches, teachers as needed Will facilitate with GearUp office that you have the equipment needed to succeed Goal: Everyone feels successful - more importantly the students do! GEARUP ROBOTICS PROGRAM

How else can I help: Can come to your school and help hold a Robotics rah rah rally Provide additional on-site support as needed (schedule permitting) You tell me…….. GEARUP ROBOTICS PROGRAM

The practical get organized at school stuff: SOAR: ideal team size: 4 to 6 students MOSAIC: ideal team size 6 to 8 students Coaches: find caring adult(s) who can ‘people manage’ - no robot expert required, who can keep teams on task Organize: get teams organized and schedule to come to meetings/training GEARUP ROBOTICS PROGRAM

The important dates: SOAR: Saturday September 19th, CWU Hogue MOSAIC: Saturday September 26th, CWU Hogue Coaches: Saturday October 3rd. TBD On both the 19th and 26th I need to know your team count and resource requirements -i.e. robot kits, software etc GEARUP ROBOTICS PROGRAM
