READER’S WORKSHOP Mrs. Feyko’s Class

FIRST STEP Take a STAR reading test to determine your reading level and ZPD. Find a book you would like to read in your ZPD

STEP 2 AR CHECK Check on arbookfind.com to see if it has an ar test and vocab list If it has a vocab test, print the list and look for those words as you read. You can put them on your reading log each week! This will help with that vocab quiz later! If no AR quiz or vocab, you will need to complete the story map or vocab activity. READ YOUR BOOK!

STEP 3 – TAKE YOUR AR QUIZ OR COMPLETE YOUR STORY MAP AND VOCAB Sign in to Ren Learn with your user name ( 1 st initial, first 4 of last name, #) password, ABC 1.Have your book handy for support 2.Check for any missed questions; you can correct these by finding the answers in the book and showing Mrs. F where you found them 3.Take your vocab quiz or complete your vocab activity

STEP 4 CONSULT THE PROJECT BOX TO FIND A PROJECT THAT FITS YOUR BOOK 1.Select a project 2.Complete the rubric for the project 3.Write up your proposal. 4.Peer feedback ( ask a friend) 5.Mrs. Feyko feedback 6. Get started, what are you waiting on!
