The Post Office By: Melanie Meyer

What is the Post Office? A special building in our town. A place we can go to mail letters, get packages, and buy mailing supplies. Survey: Have you ever been to a post office?

What is in a Post Office? Which of these things belongs in the Post Office?

Who works in the Post Office? Mail carriers deliver our mail to our houses. Other workers help sort our mail. They also stand behind the counter and help us when we come in.

What Does a Mail Carrier Do? Anyone can be a mail carrier! A mail carrier delivers mail in the rain, snow, or sunshine. The mail carrier drives a mail truck and carries a large bag with all of our mail in it. Where does he put the mail?

Which Is A Mail Truck? Which of these things is a mail truck?  Answer:  Have you ever seen one in your town?
