DeviceNet Configuration HIS ENG Typical hardware configuration ALD112 is connected to ALE111 ALE111 interfaces ALD112 by Modbus/TCP protocol. Redundant configuration is not supported. Vnet FCU SyCon ALE111 Ethernet Switching HUB ALD112 DeviceNet This is a DeviceNet System Configuration. SyCon is the DeviceNet configuration tool. And target devices are ALD112, DeviceNet and DeviceNet devices. SyCon support debug function for DeviceNet,too. SyCon can be installed in the same PC where the CS3000 System builders are installed. When Sycon is installed to the same PC of the CS3000 system builders, the operating system of the PC should be Windows 2000 Server. To prevent from collision of communication, it is recommended to use switching hub and to segregate the Ethernet network in to independent ALD112-Sycon and ENG-HIS Ethernet networks. SyCon : DeviceNet Configuration Tool from Hilscher SyCon can be installed in the same PC where the CS3000 ENG are installed. Positioning of DeviceNet Interface Module One of sub-system interface of CENTUM CS3000. DeviceNet interface module (Model ALD112) is newly introduced in the same form of FIO. ALD112 works as protocol converter between ALE111(Modbus/TCP) and DeviceNet. CS3000 R3 system provide ALD112(DeviceNet Interface Module) with FIO family. Connecting DeviceNet, we have to prepare ALD112 and ALE111. ALD112 work as protocol converter, DeviceNet to Modbus/TCP. DeviceNet Solution

The CAN bus is a reliable bus used in the auto sector. (3)Bus access method The device that started communicating first on the bus has the priority to keep communicating. When there are two devices that start communicating at the same time, the device with priority can keep communicating by looking at the pattern of 11 bits (packet ID) at the head of the communication frame. This is CSMA/NBA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Non-destructive Bitwise Arbitration)Method (4)Device profile EDS (Electric Data Sheet) is defined in the DeviceNet specification. CS3000 Engineering Function In the engineering function, the engineering to consider ALD112 and the field device need not be executed. It is an engineering procedure similar to a usual subsystem communication that uses ALE111. Communication I/O definition setting items Item Contents Storage area Sets the comm.
