Mental Wellbeing and Resilience Be active - Participating in regular physical activity has been shown to improve both your mental and physical health Connect - Building good relationships with those around you (friends, family, colleagues and community) will help to support you, improve your self-worth and enrich your life Give - Helping others can make you feel good about yourself. This can be anything from a small act of kindness to volunteering at a local community centre or service Keep Learning - Learning a new skill can build your confidence and enhance your sense of achievement. It can also be a great way to meet new people Take notice - Taking the time out to think about yourself and what is going on around you can give you the opportunity to de-stress and recharge your batteries

Focus on Outcomes by local people are more physically active, local people access health related project local people are more able to understand and achieve key health messages local people receive training, either formal or informal, and contribute to the project either through paid employment or volunteering local people contribute to the project through volunteering, 6.50 local businesses are contributing (in some way) to the programme 7.25 voluntary organisations report a greater capacity to support residents into healthier lifestyles. 8.Over the life time of the project, the level of PRG investment in the Community Fund will be matched by other funding.
