Eating at restaurants in USA Eating at restaurants is much different than in Korea. Here are some hints to help you!
First, the food is very different. You can find American food in Korea, but how often do you eat it??? What American restaurants can you find in Korea??? Why are restaurants different?

Two big differences No Yeogiyo button Tiping the Server
In Korea, if you need something there is usually a button to ask for help. A person will come to your table. In USA, you have a “server,” or a single special person to help your table. What can you say to get help??? No Yeogiyo button Excuse me
Servers in USA are paid by the customers, not the restaurant. The customer usually gives 15-20% as tip. So, if you and your friend eat dinner, and the bill is $20.00, how much do you tip? Usually $ If the server is really good, you give more. If the server is really bad, and the meal is bad, you tip less. Tip the Server

What is on the menu??? Every place is a little different. In Korea, if you go to a Kimbap restaurant, the menu is always the same. Usually, American menus have a description of the food. Korea:

I was a server at a restaurant during college. I was very good at the job, but I also hated it. Who knows Fondue??? Once upon a time…
The Melting Pot
Like TGI Fridays, Fondue can have many courses. Appetizer = cheese fondue (bread, apples, vegetables) Entrée = raw meat, you cook it! Dessert = chocolate fondue (rice crispy treats, cheese cake, brownies, strawberries, bananas, marshmellows) Fondue is from Switzerland! Fondue
