COBECOS Brest of February Progress Objectives: 1. Develop a standard data description applicable to all fisheries – 24/9 Updated version 2. Provide data necessary for estimation of theoretical relationships and the construction of a practical computable enforcement model for the fishery in question - Case studies will work bilaterally with modelers 3. Provide a project database containing data – 18/12 Operational Deliverables: 1. Operational on-line database at the JRC in month 12 (January 2008) – Done ! 2. Report on data harmonisation on all data collected under WP 2 – month 14 (March 2008) – Pending data from WP2

COBECOS Brest of February Future work 1. Harmonising data collected in all case studies: Pending on data submission Data description document already ensures harmonised data 2. According to the contractual obligations of COBECOS the following question should be answered: COBECOS will develop a standardised description of enforcement and - What are the costs and benefits of increased enforcement effort in particular fisheries? - If compliance alters in certain fisheries what are the costs and benefits? Deliverable: Report of Data harmonisation on all data collected in WP2 (March end)
