1.The bible is divided into divisions: Old Testament, and New Testament 2. There are 73 books in the Bible. 3. The first five book of the Old Testament have the following names: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy 4. The stories of Jesus are found in New Testament. 5. The Old Testament contains the sacred writings of Hebrew people. 6. St. Paul wrote most of the letters that are found in the New Testament. 7. The first four books of the New Testament are called Gospel.

8. The word ‘gospel’ means ‘ good news ’ 9. The term ‘Christ’ mean ‘anointed one’ 10. Abraham is one of the patriarchs, a father of the Jewish faith. 11. The religion that Jesus followed and practiced was Hebrew. 12. The word ‘scripture’ means ‘ sacred writings’. 13. The word ‘testament’ means ‘agreements’. 14. Prophecy: prediction made about something that is going to happen, it made under divine influence and direction. A prophet is a messenger of God who communicates with God and brings God's ideas to the world. History: a record of past events usually written in chronological order concerning a particular nation; it contains specific dates and names
