Asia is on the western hemisphere. Asia borders Europe, Africa, Arctic Ocean Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean. The largest country is Russia.

Russia, Nepal, India, Oman, Burma, Mongolia, Kazakhstan.

Fast facts about Asia Population about 3.6 billon. The area in square miles is about 17, Highest Mountain is Mount Everest. It is 29,029 ft. high. The lowest place is the Dead sea. It is 1,296 ft. below sea level.

Wildlife in Asia The Komodo dragon is a huge lizard that lives in Asia. The long haired Yak wonders over the Tibetan plateau. The red panda eats bamboo and lives in China. The Bengal tiger is endangered.

Geography In south central Asia Mongolia is covered with grassy plains perfect for wild horses. The Caspian Sea covers an area of 143,200 square miles.

People/culture Hundreds of religions and languages can be found in Asia. Asia is where most religions had started. China has the highest population in Asia.
