Use of temporary accommodation down from 130 to 19 Eliminated the use of B/B Homeless Acceptances down by 275% Mediation & home visiting achieving a 95% success rate in preventing homelessness amongst parent /friends exclusions 58% of people accessing the Back to Work programmes have entered/ reentered education training/ employment JWP computer & phone line within Housing Options Repeat homelessness eliminated 600 households housed annually through Rent Bond In-house delivery of tenancy support to 390 live tenancies Sub regional Choice Based Lettings being developed Council staff advice surgeries 2 Rough Sleepers identified at latest ‘Hotspot’ count Enhanced Housing Options Extra trailblazer £500,000 + yearly income gains resulting from Welfare Rights intervention Green Flag for Tackling Homelessness Comprehensive Area Assessment 2009 Ending Rough Sleeping Champion 2009/2010 Multi funded service Youth accommodation service Runner up in the Guardian Public Service Awards 2008
