Ephesians 1:11, Jeremiah 9:23-24

 Near and far  (Jeremiah 23:23-24)  Moves people by Inspiration and  Does things with all His heart and soul  (Jeremiah 32:38-41)

 Show the relational aspects of God  God’s desire is to be understood, though He is beyond comprehension.  These pictures are helpful but incomplete and this list is certainly not exhaustive.

 Light (1 John 1:5)  In Him is no Darkness  Love (1 John 4:8)  Relationships designed to reflect Him  Gate and Shepherd (John 10)  His purposes are to protect and promote

 Good Father (Matt 7:9)  Loves like a Father, guides like a Father  King of Kings (Esther)  To enter His presence is to deserve to die.  Potter, Creator (Jeremiah 18:6)  His purposes are what counts

 Friend (John 5:15)  Counsellor (John 14:16)  Witness (Acts 5:32)  High Priest (Heb 4:15)  Saviour (Acts 5:31)  Way, Truth and Life (John 14:6)  Lion and Lamb (Rev 5:5 and John 1:29)  I Am (John 8:58)  Rock and Foundation (Deut 32:4)  Husband (Rev 21:2)

 Joseph (Genesis 37)  The world turned this story into “Any dream will do”  Any dream will not do. Without God this story makes no sense.  If you don’t get God in your head and in your plans and in your story it will not work.
