Jesus –Possesses some quality that is attractive and alluring and enables them to trust him »Friendly, hospitable, peaceful, calm, energetic, charismatic The brothers (the first disciples) –Possess a desire and willingness to grow in faith and strengthen their relationship with God –Searching for a new life

The Everyday Life of Jesus The Call of the First Disciples (Mark 1: 16-20; Luke 5: 1-11; Matthew 4: 18-22; John 1: 35-51) –Have you ever felt “called” to follow Jesus? If not, please consider the possibility of your openness to hearing this “call”? Are you really listening to God and the possibility that God is “calling” out to you in a unique way? –How did/would you respond to this “call”? Would you drop everything (family, friends, job, employment, comfort, safety, security, your whole way of life) and follow Jesus like the disciples? Are you willing to trust God with your life and everything that you hold dear?
