Board decision Board members receive copies of:   - the final report of the agency’s review - the findings and recommendation of the Committee - each of the three Committee members’ analyses On basis of the recommendation of the Review Committee the board take a decision - the board is following the recommendation - the board is disagreeing with the recommendation of the Committee and is drawing a (motivated ) conclusion of a different type. The review report analysis and board decision are based on two principles   - Does the information provided in the review report satisfy that the review was conducted to the required level of independence, integrity and robustness?   - Does the review report provide sufficient, verified evidence that the agency meets the ENQA membership criteria and thereby the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG)? Integrity of the review process and quality of the report   - Has the review been conducted in accordance with the Guidelines for reviews of ENQA member agencies or to an equivalent standard of independence, integrity and frankness? - Do all parts of the review report provide sufficient, clear and verified information/evidence? - Is there any discrepancy between the panel’s conclusions and the evidence brought forward in its report? Finally   The agency will be notified in writing of the reasons for the Board’s decision, and subsequently will have one month from the receipt of the letter from the President to submit an appeal (if necessary) In the notification of its decision the Board can request that the agency should submit to ENQA a written update outlining how the recommendations made in the final review report have been addressed.
