A project implemented by the HTSPE consortium This project is funded by the European Union The general objective of the Programme is to contribute to the creation of a European area of justice by promoting judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters. The programme promotes effective, comprehensive and consistent application of Union legislation in the areas of judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters, and fosters access to justice and prevents and reduces drug demand and supply. This can be achieved by supporting training and awareness-raising, strengthening networks and facilitating transnational cooperation. Within this framework and aiming at simplification and rationalisation, the Justice programme is the successor of three programmes financed within the Fundamental Rights and Justice Framework Programme: Civil Justice (JCIV), Criminal Justice (JPEN), Drug Prevention and Information Programme (DPIP) OBJECTIVES

A project implemented by the HTSPE consortium This project is funded by the European Union PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILE COUNTRIES Access to the Programme shall be open to all public and/or private bodies and entities legally established in: Member States; EFTA countries which are party to the EEA Agreement, in accordance with the conditions laid down in the EEA Agreement; Accession countries, candidate countries and potential candidates, in accordance with the general principles and the general terms and conditions laid down in the framework agreements concluded with them on their participation in Union programmes;. Centralised indirect management with the delegation of implementation tasks to: –executive agencies –bodies set up by the Communities Joint management with international organisations Applications are done through calls of proposals for grants receiving. Grants are subject to annual programming. The work programme fixes the broad outlines of the grants that are envisaged over the year (area of activity, objectives, timetable, available budget, award conditions, etc.). EU funding may take the form of public procurement contracts (e.g. expenditure on information and communication, preparation, implementation, monitoring, checking and evaluation of projects, policies, programmes and legislation).
