Value of Libraries Study Purpose : to understand the value of the health library, information services and the librarian To demonstrate the impact of your library on patient care. Research includes: Surveying physicians, residents and nurses in participating hospitals to assess the value of the library and information services in patient care. Interviews with selected physicians, residents and nurses from participating hospitals to understand the role of the library resources and the librarian in providing information related to patient care. Focus groups with librarians in the region to validate and confirm research findings.
