I used my sisters old dress to unstitch the top part from it leaving me with the skirt. After that I went to the op shops and looked for something for the top. I then found a short sleeved top/cardigan that I thought would look nice with it. Then I just went to southland and brought some material to put underneath the which short sleeved top. I decided to make a dress with a high skirt. +

I then had to cut the top in half, sewing it to the black material after that I had cut of the collar and sew it to the top of it. The reason I cut the collar off was because I couldn’t keep it on the side that had holes in it( I had to cut sleeves off)

After finishing making the top and skirt I then had to cut the belt material so I could make It the right size. This meant I had to measure it on me and then pin it so I could know where to cut. After cutting it I then sewed it so It didn’t look bad.

After that I had to attach The top and skirt to each other With adding a few buttons. Then it was time to join the belt which I just tied a bow and put it on the back.
