General Education Classroom General Education Classroom Consultation The general education teacher and SPED teacher meet on a regular basis to plan, implement, and monitor instructional alternatives designed to promote success in the general education classroom Co-Teaching Both the General and SPED teachers share responsibility for planning, delivering, and evaluating instruction for all students in a class/subject for the entire class period Support Facilitation SPED teacher provides direct service to students with disabilities in the general education classroom for part of the instructional period/block during regularly scheduled intermittent or varying times of the day and/or week

ELEMENTARY ESAP PROGRAM CODES ELEMENTARYELEMENTARY ESE ESAP program numbers are only used when students with disabilities have one or more separate/pullout SPED classes. ▪ESE ESAP program numbers do NOT have to be manually hard-coded line 200; the hard- code is integrated programmatically into the program number. Regular ESAP program numbers are used for students with disabilities in general education for all courses.

SECONDARY COURSE CODES K-8, MIDDLE, SENIOR General education course codes used for students in separate SPED classes taught by a SPED teacher must be hard-coded line 200. General education course codes used for students in general education classes taught by a general education teacher are NOT hard-coded line 200. All hard-coded basic courses taught by an ESE teacher will appear in ISIS PF4 Course code requirements must be reflected in scheduling of core courses for students with disabilities.

MODIFIED COURSE CODES ALL GRADE LEVELS ALL GRADE LEVELS Course code requirements for scheduling students with disabilities into core subjects level core courses (7700, 7800, 7900) are intended only for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities who are eligible under IDEA and meet the Florida Alternate Assessment criteria. A list of all activated 7000 level core courses are available. A recommended scope and sequence for all students with significant cognitive disabilities accessing 7000 level courses is available.

ESE SUPPLEMENT ESE SUPPLEMENT 1022 (804) FOR TEACHERS: Per the UTD contract, a teacher must be exclusively assigned to students with IND, OI/OHI/TBI, EBD and/or ASD. The teacher’s schedule from ISIS will be reviewed Teachers assigned to mixed exceptionality groups including SLD, VI and/or DHOH are not eligible for an ESE A Supplement Approval Request Form (SARF) must be submitted to Compensation to request the ESE 1022 supplement for an eligible teacher.

ESE SUPPLEMENT ESE SUPPLEMENT 1020 (801) FOR CLASSROOM PARAPROFESSIONALS: ESE supplement 1020 will be processed programmatically for a classroom paraprofessional assigned to a position with a program number of 6710 (IND), 6740 (OI), 6760 (EBD), 6821 (ASD) or 6770 (PK). A Supplement Adjustment Request Form (SARF) must be submitted to Compensation to request the ESE 1020 supplement for eligible program funded paraprofessionals after the batch processing calendar.

ESE SUPPLEMENTS - IDEA ESE SUPPLEMENT 1020 (801) FOR IEP PARAPROFESSIONALS: ESE supplement 1020 will not processed automatically for paraprofessionals assigned to an IDEA funded position A Supplement Adjustment Request Form (SARF) must be submitted to Compensation to request the ESE 1020 supplement for eligible IDEA program funded paraprofessionals. IDEA funded paraprofessionals must be primarily assigned to a student / classroom with IND, OI/OHI/TBI, EBD or ASD.
