Artistic Statement Life throws all sorts of things at you. They can humorous, tragic, confusing or beautiful. Rarely does anyone pause for a moment and take a look at just what was thrown at them. My body of work “Between the Lines” looks between the blatant and the obvious to uncover something deeper. Whether it is finding yourself, staying positive, paying attention to the world around you, pursuing success or taking hold of time, they are all aspects of life that lies between the lines and should not be overlooked.

Biography From the beginning of my life, art has always been a part of me. In my youngest years I would pour out my imagination with a pencil and paper. My heart and soul would be released and fly on a canvas. But my teenage years called for more technical artistic expressions. No longer was only a pencil and paper used to release my emotions, but a computer became the tool to open my mind. However, it didn’t stop there. Another form of artistic expression was added to my arsenal, photography. I now release my soul into a lens and capture my emotions in a photograph, seeking powerful concepts and unique perspectives through each photograph.
