Counties historically have used the data to supplement their 942 expenditure. We also provide DOC with data specific to the Juvenile Justice target population. They in turn use this information to supplement the select survey spreadsheet.

Answer: We gather information on our CPS cases from CPS activity and documentation and related service plans. For example, we collect data related to Access Reports, Initial Assessments, and services documented in Case and Safety Plans.

Answer: It is likely that the spreadsheet will not be sufficient when full service cost reporting related to the child and families allocation are established.

Answer: Please document ALL SPS data that you provide the families you work with, this includes both contracted services and those provided in-house.

Answer: Simply stated, you are not getting credit for services you do not have documented. Your costs per client served is going to appear significantly inflated if you are only reporting one service.

Answer: For CPS related individuals you do not need to enter anything more. And currently, we also “will” gather information entered on a case plan for a Child Welfare case. So if you are completing Case Plans on Child Welfare children we will report on that data. However, we only report Juvenile Justice Standard Program Services through data captured on the SPS page.
