Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Explotrain LLC has become an industry leader in the non-pyrotechnic simulation of explosive effects. Originally developed for EOD training at NAVSCOLEOD in 1999, our Simulators are now used at nearly a hundred installations world wide. Different models of the X-0 Series Explosive Blast Simulator are available for use in multiple scenarios, including small units easily concealed in MOUT Villages, highly mobile models that can be partially buried and submerged or rapidly relocated to simulate incoming artillery as well as an over sized Simulator for extreme effects used to train mounted troops or simulate large roadside bombs. In addition to safe and realistic explosive effects, Explotrain has recently added hyper realistic simulation of the IEDs themselves. The key to this level of realism is the X-CAP™ or Blasting Cap Transmitter. This transmitter visually resembles an actual blasting cap but most importantly simulates the electrical performance as well. The main difference of course is that when triggered, the X-CAP transmits a Fire signal to a nearby X-0 Simulator for a penalty effect instead of detonating a main charge. This technology, along with our capabilities protected by US Patent 6,599,127, make Explotrain uniquely capable of providing extremely realistic simulation of IEDs. Explotrain components can be used to build devices with no components that are “out of play” providing students with the most realistic simulation possible.

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) SAFETY: Explotrain X-0 Series Simulators use a mixture of oxygen and propane ignited in an open ended cylinder to produce a safe but extremely loud ( dB+) blast effect. Sound level as well as blast overpressure distribution data are available to provide for the complete safety of operators and students. Further safety information and procedures can be found in the Safety Assessment Reports on file with PMTRASYS. Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model X-CAP™ “Blasting Cap Transmitter”™ The X-CAP Blasting Cap Transmitter™ provides absolute state of the art EOD training and IED simulation capabilities. Just substitute the X-CAP for an actual blasting cap and instead of detonating, the device will safely transmit a Fire signal wirelessly to any X-0 Series Simulator you choose. Virtually identical to actual blasting caps in both visual appearance and electronic performance; there is no more realistic IED training aid available, or possible. SPECIFICATIONS 433 MHz 100m Open Air Range Controls multiple X-0 Simulators Used to Duplicate Real World Devices, Tactics and Triggers Completely Inert Plug into any X-0 System Replaces Real World Device Initiators Replaces Actual Blasting Caps in Real World Circuits and Devices

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model IFIED™ “Inert Functional IED”™ The Explotrain® Model IFIED™ provides absolute state of the art IED simulation capabilities. Actual real world devices and triggers are used with X-CAP™ transmitter and inert simulated explosive. Appearances are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing, both visual and X-ray, when using “jihadi style” construction. The IFIED Controller can be also be used to simply plug in triggers and sensors. Electronic performance mimics real world devices in either case. SPECIFICATIONS 433 MHz 100m Open Air Range Controls multiple X-0 Simulators Used to Duplicate Real World Devices, Tactics and Triggers Completely Inert Plug into any X-0 System Visually and Functionally Replicates Real World Devices Real World Devices with State of the Art Technology

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model X-05™ “The Most Versatile IED Simulator”™ The Explotrain® Model X-05 provides very realistic and effective explosive battlefield effects to safely train our troops. The explosive blasts produced by the X-05 result in a 120+dB punch of sound that is felt as well as heard, allowing you the necessary realism required for your training needs. Despite the loudness of the Model X-05, it is safe to use near buildings, windows and personnel. SPECIFICATIONS 120+ dB Blast Uses Commercial Oxygen and Disposable Propane Cylinders Pennies per Shot Up to 60 Shots per Minute Command Detonate or Victim Operated ½ Mile Range Remote Control AA Battery Power Supply Waterproof Construction Explosive Blast Simulator with Separate Control and Gas Supply

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model X-OHW™ “Harvey Wallbanger”™ Ideally suited for MOUT villages, the Explotrain® Model X-OHW can be easily concealed and used freestanding or attached to the outside of a building, conex box, window frame or vehicle. The explosive effects heard and felt inside the enclosure are every bit as real as they need to be for effective training, yet completely safe as they take place outside. Specifications 110+ dB Blast Uses Commercial Oxygen and Disposable Propane Cylinders Pennies per Shot Less than 17” Tall Command Detonate or Victim Operated ½ Mile Range Remote Control AA Battery Power Supply Waterproof Construction Compact Size and High Performance in a Highly Concealable Simulator

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model X-OMG™ “It Really Is That Loud”™ The Explotrain® Model X-OMG provides the extreme performance characteristics required to produce the explosive effects needed to effectively train mounted troops in armored vehicles. Placed near a convoy and controlled wirelessly or by a victim operated trigger, the X-OMG provides the perfect simulation of a large roadside bomb or IED. SPECIFICATIONS 130+ dB Blast Uses Commercial Oxygen and Disposable Propane Cylinders Pennies per Shot Up to 20 Shots per Minute Command Detonate or Victim Operated ½ Mile Range Remote Control AA Battery Power Supply 45” H x 22” W x 49” L Safely Simulate Extreme Explosive Effects for Mounted Troops

Explotrain ® Survive the Blast…...Survive the Encounter™ (850) Model X-LRT™ “Long RangeTransmitter”™ The Explotrain® Model X-LRT Handheld Transmitter provides a rugged housing and an intuitive interface for controlling multiple Explosive Simulators. Ten LEDs are each dedicated to a Simulator and continuously indicate not only the communications status of the unit but its Armed/Disarmed/Firing state as well. A single operator can control and monitor an entire training range of up to 300 acres from one location. SPECIFICATIONS 915MHz 200m to 600+m Range Controls up to 10 X-0 Simulators Constantly Monitors Simulators’ Status Water Resistant Housing Intuitive Interface Simple Keypad Operation Totally Redundant AA Battery Power Supply Continuously Monitor and Control up to Ten Explosive Simulators at One Time
