The 7 components needed to compete! Communication and commitment Overcome adversity Mental focus Prepare to win Expect to win Team before self Enthusiasm

COMMUNICATION The interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs. COMMITMENT The difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something you do it when it's convenient. When your committed to something, you accept no excuses only results. - Kenneth Blanchard

Team Before Self 1. During every athletic contest your body will ask, "Why am I doing this? I can not go on"... Your eyes will look to the left and then to the right...And see...the sweat running down her face, the desire in her eyes...At that point...Your heart will answer..."Because she is my teammate and she is counting on me." -Author Unknown 2.
