Charles Character Traits activity Think of 5 traits of the character Charles. Choose a different animal to represent each trait. Example: If the character is quiet, a mouse may be an animal used to represent this particular trait. On plain white paper, draw and color your animals. Extra Credit: Create a new creature that reflects the traits of both the animal and the creature. Example: Your new creature could have the stripes of a zebra, the nose of an elephant, the neck of a giraffe, and so on. Remember - you must include 5 animals to represent 5 traits.

Keep in mind that when you finish you should have no fewer than 5 animals. The extra credit does not replace the rest of the animals. It just adds to your project. If you choose to do the extra credit, you will have a total of 6 animals drawn and colored on your paper. Example Sneaky Snake

Sample White paper setup

When you finish… Turn your paper in at the front of the room in the box. Return to your seat and read.
