Lord of the Flies, chapter 1 LotF In-class Writing #1: Using your annotation of chapter one to help you to identify textual evidence, complete one of the two paragraphs whose topic sentences are given below. (1) In chapter 1 of Lord of the Flies, William Golding shows that on their first day on the island the boys are attracted to both freedom and order. (2) In chapter 1 of Lord of the Flies, we see the process of power being distributed and used in many big and small ways.
