Presentation transcript:

Constellations are found all over the solar system. You can see a constellations with a telescope. Constellations are made out of groups of stars.

The red stars are way colder than then the blue stars. This is a picture of a constellation.

The first constellation was named over 2,000 years ago. Long ago, people put stars together to make pictures. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, it forms the belly of a dog. You can see constellations from a telescope.

Constellations are a group of stars that looks like a object. Constellations are found all over the solar system. People see shapes in natural features with stars. Picture of the Big Dipper

Some constellations and their stories have been passed down through the ages. Constellations are still used today to map the night sky.

The Great Bear’s legend says that a beautiful Greek girl was changed into a bear by a jealous goddess. Stars are made of huge, hot shining balls of gas like our Sun. Thanks for watching!
