Personalization We will foster academic foundations, communication skills, critical thinking, leadership, collaboration, employability and career development, technical/technology skills and goal setting. Our faculty will utilize data analysis of student interests, parental surveys and prior academic performance. Looped career pathway classes enable instructors to establish and employ effective, adaptive pedagogy. Opportunities for job shadowing, mentoring, work experience, apprenticeships and internships with our community partners Complementary classes at district occupational centers, ROP community locations, adult schools and local community colleges.

BTD’s coordinator will reach out to community organizations and institutions to advance professional relationships and student opportunities

Professional Development 5-Day summer training focused on Project-Based Learning and thematic units Weekly meetings Banked Tuesday professional development  “Cycle of continuous improvement”  Analyze data from CST’s, CELDT, CAHSEE, periodic assessments and common/formative assessments. Peer observation calendar and a schedule to analyze the observation data  Teaching and Learning Framework, Rigor and Relevance Framework  Summative assessments which will determine the content of future professional developments.
